6.1 What “media packs” include
The Website may make available downloadable materials, which may include (without limitation) brand guidelines, press releases, biographies, photography, logos, livery references, video clips, historical archives, or other marketing and informational assets (together, “Media Packs”).
6.2 Licence grant (limited permission)
Subject to these Terms, TPL grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to download and use Media Packs only for:
a) editorial coverage, press, and media commentary relating to TPL and Team Tyrrell, and/or
b) internal evaluation for potential partnership, licensing, or legitimate business discussions with TPL, and/or
c) other purposes expressly stated within the relevant Media Pack (if applicable).
No other use is permitted unless TPL agrees in writing.
6.3 Prohibited uses
Unless expressly agreed by TPL in writing, you must not:
a) use any Media Pack content for advertising, merchandising, product manufacture, or commercial exploitation
b) use logos, trade marks, images, or video in a way that implies endorsement, sponsorship, or affiliation by TPL or Team Tyrrell
c) sell, license, sub-license, distribute, or make Media Packs (or any part of them) available to third parties, whether for free or for payment (except to your employees/contractors who need access for the permitted uses and who are bound by confidentiality and these Terms)
d) modify, edit, or create derivative works from Media Packs in a way that is misleading, derogatory, defamatory, or that harms TPL, Team Tyrrell, or any third party
e) remove embedded metadata, copyright notices, watermarks, or rights notices
f) use any Media Pack content in connection with unlawful, offensive, or political campaigning purposes, or in any way that infringes third-party rights (including privacy, publicity, trade marks, or copyright).
6.4 Attribution and crediting (if required)
Where a Media Pack specifies required credits (for example, photographer credit, copyright owner, “Team Tyrrell” wording, or archive references), you must follow those requirements. If no credit is specified, you should use reasonable efforts to credit “Tyrrell Promotions Limited / Team Tyrrell” where appropriate for editorial use.
6.5 Rights clearance and third-party rights
Some Media Pack items may include third-party rights (for example, photographers, circuits, event organisers, sponsors, broadcast footage, or archival sources). Where indicated, you are responsible for obtaining any additional permissions required for your intended use. TPL does not guarantee that all Media Pack content is free from third-party rights restrictions.
6.6 Takedown and withdrawal
TPL may change, suspend, withdraw, or disable access to Media Packs at any time. We may also require you to stop using particular assets if we reasonably believe your use breaches these Terms or infringes rights. Where reasonably possible, we will provide notice, but this may not always be possible (for example, to protect rights or address urgent issues).
6.7 No reliance
Media Packs are provided “as is” for convenience. We do not guarantee accuracy, completeness, currency, or suitability for any particular purpose.
