Roy "Toppy" Topp
Welder/Fabricator; at post from 1970-1977

Roy Topp fabricated almost everything that could be welded or fabricated on the Grand Prix Tyrrell cars. He created the suspension and finished many of the beautiful welds still on the cars today. When Jody Scheckter left Tyrrell for Wolf in 1977, Topp went with him.

He then worked with Jackie Stewart's son, Paul, during his F3 program. "Toppy" now works with John Fenning, a historic automobile restorer, and Topp helped to restore Tyrrell 003 and the Wolf WR1, both which he helped to create.
